I am a French American independent scholar interested in raising awareness of the legacy of French-speaking people to civilization, history, and culture. I publish new works, give public lectures, and point to existing publications which might be overlooked.
After a career at the World Bank in Washington D.C., I moved to New Mexico in 2004. I realized the extraordinarily rich history of the French, French Canadians, and other French-speaking people in New Mexico over the last four centuries. And so, I embarked on my great chase for the French-speaking people in New Mexico and their descendants, and discovered an unexpected number of them.
